I haven't posted in some time now, but today was special in many ways. Remembering those lost in 9/11 and honoring those lost in service to the public and honoring those who served their country faithfully. Dad was honored today for his lifelong commitment to his country. He doesn't like to be in the limelight no matter how much I think he should be on a throne and carried around! Fire chief Mingee will have to spend some time making it up to dad for getting him there and recognized!
